Mr. Carlton was friendly, but we were unsure if we were dealing with him or a secretary from the responses we received, as they would be one-sentence replies, improper grammar, etc. We were shocked that our filing was handwritten and not typed. It was challenging to read, as I would categorize it as chicken scratch. We had to conduct weekly check-ins to get the status of our landlord-tenant dispute case, which took a year and a half. I previously worked as a judicial secretary, so I had some familiarity with legal filings. In one instance, we were sent someone else's case information.
Rents an office within an office, no assist or secretary, hand writes legal documents. Not clear and transparent. Dances around questions. Did nothing but make appearances. Blows smoke... you know where. Thinks you'll believe anything he says. Unprofessional! I put him in the same category as the con artist I sued.
