I found my representation by Courtney Morgan Jr. to be terribly incompetent. He was not well-versed in statutory issues on either state claims or federal claims. He was not responsive to a couple of urgent matters that arose during my representation. He had very poor tact, and an outright obnoxious secretary. He essentially told me my case was ‘dead in the water’, and I was going to lose. I promptly fired him, retained superior representation with another attorney whom opposing counsel couldn’t bully around like they did Mr. Morgan & promptly received a very favorable settlement. I later learned that a previous client of his, whom I’ve known for years yet did not know had used Mr. Morgan, has the exact same feelings toward his competence & efficiency. Terrible attorney, save yourself the aggravation & go elsewhere. 2 legal malpractice attorneys said he’d committed legal malpractice, but I didn’t have the energy to pursue that, or else I would have & almost certainly won.
