His office staff was excellent and even knew me by first name! Very friendly and helpful. Answers questions and returns calls promptly. Would highly recommend to others.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING 5 MONTHS FOR MR ECKERT TO PUT A MOTION FOR US TO GET A LITTLE MORE MONEY- BECAUSE BANK OF AMERICA HAS PAID OFF OUR ND MORTGAGE. PRICES HAVE GONE UP SO MUCH- BUT AM OVERALL HAPPY WITH HIS CHAP 13 KNOWLEDGE
He filed my bankruptcy and we were granted the bankruptcy. However, we had to do all of the leg work. We had to make 7 copies of all of the paperwork, we had to find addresses to all of our creditors. We only met with him one time and did not see him again. No one showed up for us when we had to go to the hearing. When I would call after the bankruptcy to ask questions his aide told us that the bankruptcy was done and there wasn't anything else for him to do for us.
He and his office only did the paper work. Never represented me at the bankrupt proceedings. He did arrange for a man to be present at the hearing, but he did not say or do anything. All went well. I am aware of another bankrupt that his wife and office staff confused how a client paid. Mrs. Eckert was very rude, but all went well after Stacy Eckert straightened out the mess.
If you're looking for a litigator, keep looking. I paid $150 for a 30 minute consultation where Mr Eckert told me what he could do to help me, instructed me to contact his assistant to arrange the necessary next step in my legal case, and then: nothing. His office hasn't answered the phones, responded to emails, or voice messages. I wasted two weeks because this man didn't have the courtesy or professionalism to inform me he changed his mind about representing me.
