calls were never returned, so I would set up meeting with her instead, as I realized there would be no other means of communication of the status of my case. Now, one year latter, absolutely no action has been taken on my case what so ever. Documentation regarding retirement accounts have not been provide to her by opposing counsel. One year, 52k and NOTHING has be acted upon regarding matters in my case. I can not even get a bill from the past year. Not an advocate, diligent or proficient.

She out right lied to me about what I would get from my divorce. By rights I was entitled to half of everything my husband had due to the fact that we were married over 10 years and I have 2 minor children by him. The only things I walked away from that divorce was my personal belongings, my children and the van we had at the time. He is not even paying child support, because the judge said that they were drawing social security from their dad. Carol never even put up a fight for me.

Never returned phone calls; no depositions; did not subpoena spouse's financial records; did not discuss case/situation prior to court appearance; discussed confidential information in front of ex-spouse and his attorney; did not respond to questions concerning final divorce agreement; let opposition file MDA and parenting plan without my signature or revisions after I sent a list of incorrect terms in settlement; did not act when spouse violated pre-divorce agreement in divorce filings.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
