Awesome lawyer and firm. Brian was a great divorce attorney and fought for my rights and fought to get me the most important thing and that was my children out of a big mess that my ex put them in. Needless to say after him working his butt off and showing the truth I ended up with my children in full custody and for that I am thankful for his hard work and dedication to my family and my children. Worked with Brian Kruse for 4 months for a divorce and visitation rights and got nothing accomplished. He never filed the motions he agreed to and didn't care to respond to my emails and phone calls for several weeks. Started out strong and talked a big game but then faded and wouldn't close or finalize anything. Very good at sending invoices and racking up the costs.
I spent over $10,000 with Brian and his firm before leaving because he stopped responding to emails and phone calls. His partner Brian did the same thing when I worked with him. I basically have nothing to show for all the money and time I spent with no visitation rights to see my son, no alimony or child support payment orders, no shared parenting plan, etc. After trying to work with him to get at least a partial refund, he then threated me with legal actions because he claims I wrote two fake reviews on another website. This is not a fake review! I'm not going to be bullied or intimidated...I have a legal right to leave a review and people should know how Brian and his office works.
I hired Brian Kruse to represent me in a visitation matter regarding my child and regret not researching before going with the first lawyer I had a consultation with, Mr. Kruse. He did not care about my concerns, was often rude and seemed inconvenienced by having to answer his client’s questions. He does not have his client’s best interests in mind and was unapologetic about multiple missteps he and his paralegal made in my case. You are better off representing yourself.
He was highly recommended but failed me miserably on a very simple thing. He never mentioned that Ohio law supersedes my life insurance beneficiary after divorce. That if we wanted to keep each other as beneficiary on our life insurance policies after the divorce we needed to redo them when the divorce was final. Not having this information has left me without the funds we had set up for such an emergency as my Ex died 6 months after our divorce leaving behind our five year old son.
