Do not hire this lawyer! He talked a great game and in the end he was just out to collect fees and wasn't looking out for my best interests. I used him for a divorce he missed our first court date. My ex offered me for about 100 days not to pay any of the family debt and offered more then the state said he had to pay for support. I ended up getting no alimony, had to pay my ex husband 11k in split debt, and got $120 less in child support then my ex originally offered. DO NOT HIRE
Please DO NOT HIRE!! Like stated in other reviews, this man only cares about collecting money while he does nothing. He is very outdated and highly sexist. He collected over 7k from me and my family and did not show up to my final hearing after working my divorce for almost 2 years.
Would not recommend this attorney. Was more interested in collecting fees than providing representation. In fact, I had to represent myself before the judge due to Mr. Depoorter not being at my hearing.
Is a worthless garbage attorney. In the first meeting ignored everything I said and started discussing plea deals. Will only ever be interested in getting a plea deal. Doesn’t communicate or fight for you, just wants to make a quick buck. Save your money
