Fox & Associates Co., L.P.A. is a law firm with an office in Dayton, OH. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing bankruptcy, chapter 7, chapter 13 and 10 other areas of law.
The attorney we used at Fox, Clay Woods, was effective and efficient. He answered all of our questions and had the Power of Attorney we requested ready for our signature at our meeting. Mr. Woods has been very accessible and thorough.
They were very honest to us when we went thee for the initial visit, so we did & are going to use their services.
They were very helpful and always courteous.
communication was not a high point, did not let us know that liens were put on certain properties and that they stayed on even after bankruptcy. Things that should have been explained to us were not found out after the fact and had to call, may not get proper response until later.
After paying my full amount to these people, they couldn't even bother showing up for the court date. After waiting 3 hours, the courthouse finally get ahold of the lawyer and she said it wasn't on her calender! If someone is going to pay you to represent them, show up to court on that day at that time!
it took to long.
Advised me to settle for something without seeing all the evidence. When I tried to ask questions she became irritated and belittling. I had never gone through something like this in court so I took my lawyers advice and later found out she screwed me. After talking to another lawyer I found out so much more could’ve been done. But because I took Sarah’s advice and it was already filed through the court there was nothing I could do about it.
Case was over year old and no action. Prolong due to child birth which caused problems and case being extended. I asked several things of my attorney and had paid over $2,000 for just paperwork and not real action. Also, I had given her paperwork for the case and told her just give it to the attorney and she charged me for copies. She stated a call for next case made (paralegal)and I didn't receive it she argued I did. And I was at the courthouse for no reason.
Sarah Decker-Hall did nothing for my divorce and when I questioned her about it she always got defensive. She was awful and Fox & Associates fired her. I lost a lot of money for nothing to Sarah Decker Hall.
She is a liar. She intentionally had my case continued, saying it was the judge who continued it, we got the paperwork and it turns out it was HER. She then charged me another 3,500 for the continuance. We upset her, and her husband who is an IT guy, sent our email a virus, we have the proof of this. He also changed my security code on my phone, while he was supposed to be looking for malware. We then went to her boss, he was quite upset by all of this. She is underhanded and a liar. I fired her for a public defender, an my pd couldn’t believe what this women did to me. She preys on people who are in desperation, she’ll say everything you want to hear. She is not a good person, so please, look for a better lawyer because this women is not it.
