McKee's law firm came recommended by a mold expert who assured he was the best in the business at Mold toxicity cases. Emphasis on the word "was". The first red flag was expecting a $10k deposit AND a 40% share after some song and dance about how great he was as a trial attorney and how skilled he was at these mold poisoning cases and how "if he was going to bet on us we needed to bet on him". He's quite the salesman. Given McKee was a referral from a respected expert, out of necessity, he was hired. What was discovered is that McKee did not visibly show up to represent the case or protect the case's interests such as in depositions or reviews of his staff's work product at any time. McKee appeared to have dumped the case to a group of shockingly unqualified or overworked staff that consistently underperformed in terms of proper communication, quality work product, basic scheduling, basic coordination, and due diligence. Not one member of his firm was invested in this case.
