I'm appalled by the rude and unprofessional behavior of Attorney Richard Talley. Our initial call started on the wrong foot, with him sounding grumpy from the outset. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he was having a bad day. However, things took a turn for the worse when I didn't have a specific piece of information he requested. He shouted at me to get the information and abruptly hung up the phone. I'm grateful that he revealed his true nature during our first call, rather than after I had paid a retainer. I would refrain working with Attorney Talley. The best attorneys talks nicely, are curious and sharp rather than trying to bully the customers.
Mr. Talley represented a 17 year old in a DUI case. In looking in to his credentials, we find that he practices a plethora of areas, but nothing in the area of DUI. He never met with his Client, nor was he prepared. The Judge asked the young man 3 questions. He took his answers as a guilty plea, but we only discovered that because the case was moved to another County and a new Attorney was retained. The case should not have been moved and the guilty plea cannot be changed.
