I cannot say enough positive things about Jeremy regarding his knowledge, professionalism, and advocacy during difficult and trying situations. I hired Jeremy for several matters ranging from real estate transactions to complex matters that crossed several state lines and multiple jurisdictions. I have used Jeremy for several matters from complex real property hurdles, contractual disputes, along with family and friends utilizing his services for domestic related situations. Jeremy always gives his honest opinion and suggests alternatives if he feels it is not best for the client to move forward with their desires. Jeremy also has a strong moral and ethical reputation within the legal and local community. He relies on doing the "right thing" along with what is in the best interest of those he represents and advises. I highly recommend Jeremy to those experience legal issues or needing legal advice in the East Tennessee and Lakeway area.

Hired Attorney

I hired Jeremy Churchwell of Rainwater, Drinnon, and Churchwell for a simple divorce. @ years and almost $15,000.00 later he never even got my case to court, and he withdrew from my case (he quit). No refund, even gave me a bill for more money ! Do not waste your money here. Go outside of Jefferson county. Don't get caught up in local politics! My prefer attorney Jill Talley of Dandridge/Jefferson county quit her a couple months later as well. Also no refund, but a bill for more money as well.Lack of knowledge on divorce shocked me, couldn't ask a question without making a phone call, and usually to ........Jill Talley !!! I prefer my attorney to have a little bit of courage at least. He acted terrified of my wife's attorney ! Have some backbone. My divorce has been open 9 YEARS !!! Thanks to jeremy d. churchwell. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
