About Mr. David LeBron McGuffey

David L. McGuffey is in private practice in Georgia, with a primary office in Dalton and a satellite office in Ellijay. David spends most of his time helping elders, caregivers and individuals with special needs. This means David helps elders and their caregivers, as well as persons with disabilities. We help elders and individuals with special needs find, get and pay for good long-term care. David is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. He was selected as a Georgia SuperLawyer in 2013 and has maintained that distinction. In March of 2021, David launched EzElderLaw, a website designed to educate the public and younger lawyers regarding elder law and special needs law issues.    David speaks regularly on Elder Law issues and special needs issues. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
