Zoe Kirchoff focuses her practice on technology transactions and intellectual property matters. She assists clients in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, SaaS and cloud agreements, and other technology-focused vendor arrangements. She also supports the firm’s M&A practice by conducting intellectual property and technology due diligence and advising on the treatment of data and technology assets in corporate transactions.Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Zoe served as a data privacy and security fellow with the Colorado Office of the Attorney General's Technology & Privacy Protection Unit. In this role, she managed and investigated potential security and data breach notification violations and participated in multistate enforcement efforts. She analyzed company privacy policies and consumer complaints to identify potential violations of the Colorado Privacy Act and drafted memoranda recommending investigations into noncompliant entities. Zoe also researched novel legal issues and legislative developments related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.Zoe holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
