Hired Attorney Donald Mackenzie

Scott Mackenzie got a $500,000 settlement for my family in 2008. In addition to that, our legal relationship graduated into a friendship which I deeply appreciate and cherish. We remain in regular contact to this day, even though I have not seen him since 2012. Plan on going to Dallas before long to visit him.

Hired Law Firm

I called the office to inquire about using retirement funds for real estate investments. I was trying to inform the lawyer of my particular situation and he was not receptive of the information I was giving him. He came off extremely rude and over talked me during the whole conversation. If you're thinking about using this firm, think again. I don't know about most people, but if I'm planning to spend my money for services, I demand that the company treat me respectfully as I would treat anyone.

This person was unable to understand that I am not a financial adviser. Respect is a two way road, and if he had provided me an opportunity to speak, I would have directed him to an appropriate adviser who could discuss the tax and legal consequences.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
