Sameen was born in Pakistan and grew up in Arlington, Texas. She became the first person in her family to go to college in the United States. Sameen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, History and Psychology from Southern Methodist University in 2013 where she worked at the Lyle School of Engineering to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (“STEM”) programs for underprivileged children. Sameen obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016 where she was a Senior Editor at the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge John H. Chupp at the 141st Civil District Court in Tarrant County. Sameen is licensed in the State of Texas and the Northern District of Texas.
Outside of work, Sameen enjoys volunteering at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, exploring new places to eat and spending time with friends, family as well as her pet bunny named Oreo.
