Kayla Monique McCallum focuses on health care regulatory and transactional matters. She represents clients across the health care and life sciences industries in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions. Her practice involves working with health care providers, technology companies, private equity firms, and life sciences organizations on complex business matters.
Kayla also works on regulatory matters affecting health care and life sciences companies. She counsels and advises clients on compliance issues and state and federal regulatory considerations, including licensure, corporate practice restrictions, fraud and abuse laws such as the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Stark Law, and HIPAA and HITECH. Kayla has authored publications on AI regulation in the health care sector and patent law issues affecting generic pharmaceuticals. She is admitted to practice in Texas, the District of Columbia, and New York.
