Mr. Francis has been practicing law since 1974, after having graduated from the University of Texas in 1971 and Baylor University School of Law in 1974. His practice has focused on personal injury matters. He is a past president of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a former director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and state committeeman to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, now the American Association for Justice.
