Hired Attorney Ms. Dawn Smith

.settlement was made on August 6 and proceeds have yet to be dispersed to the beneficiaries. Poor communication and negligence. These people don't seem to care. Took away duties of the administrator and decided to write individual checks which have never been received. Often loses documents and will ask for important documents to be sent again .Has no clue it's on Lori desk. She found it after it's been on her desk for three weeks. Goes to Sandra.when she is called, she's on the phone and doesn't return call. I finally get her who indicates it's in another dept.where checks go out.i've called these people about twenty times and the procrastination goes on. Nobody can tell you anything. Think twice before you hire this firm because they have no respect for administrator of a will and will take you on a fishing expedition.

I have made many calls regarding asbestos payments and have received so many different answers as to what may be holding things up,from the government has to make the payment. to it will take 2 months, then 3 months now it will be some time after june. Then I get a garbled call saying I should fax my most recent paper back to get money from a new source. I called to say that I did not received them and was told they may call me back.I have been told this before and no body calls.What now????????

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
