Hired Attorney

I was very disappointed with how my case was handled. Communication was extremely poor throughout the process. Most of the time, I had to be the one reaching out for updates, and it was difficult to get clear answers. I was also informed that my attorney was very new to the team of attorneys he had joined. I often felt that my case did not receive the level of guidance, communication, and attention I expected. I was repeatedly told that my case would likely go a certain way, including being promised the minimum probation term. However, when we went to court, the outcome was very different from what I had been led to expect. I was also told that my expungement would be taken care of and was included in the fees I paid. Trusting my attorney, I did not get this in writing, only to later find out that it was not included after all. What was most frustrating was being asked at the end of the case how I felt about the outcome. I was honest and explained that I was not happy
