I joined Kilgore & Kilgore in 2017, after 19 years as a Shareholder with Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser. Between 1986 and 1993, I was a Partner, Shareholder, or Associate with several law firms in Dallas and Fort Worth. Prior to that, I served as a Captain with the Judge Advocate General’s Corp, U. S. Army. All my life, people told me I should become a lawyer because of my writing ability and my gift of persuasion. I was a military kid. When I saw my dad’s forced retirement, I decided I wanted a career that I could work at for as long as I wanted. I entered the military on an ROTC scholarship. When I took off the uniform, I felt I had justice on my side. What I enjoy most are the personal relationships with clients. I enjoy the gratification that comes when I accomplish goals for them. It is tremendously satisfying, personally speaking.
