Christina King is a passionate and experienced criminal defense attorney who’s spent more than a decade fighting for clients across Texas. Fluent in Spanish, Christina connects easily with a diverse range of clients and ensures their voices are heard in and out of the courtroom.
She’s personally litigated more than 6,000 cases — from minor municipal offenses to high-stakes capital murder trials — and is known for building persuasive narratives and dismantling weak prosecution evidence. Her work has led to countless dismissals, acquittals, and reduced sentences.
Before joining Michael & Associates, Christina spent 11 years as a public defender in Dallas, protecting the rights of indigent clients, developing trial strategies, conducting investigations, and securing favorable outcomes. She also handled both criminal and civil cases throughout North and Central Texas, giving her a deep understanding of complex procedural and evidentiary issues.
Christina earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was an active member of the mock trial team all three years. She interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and at the Mexican Consulate in Houston, further shaping her commitment to justice and her ability to serve Spanish-speaking communities.
She also contributed an influential essay on eyewitness identification to American Justice in the Age of Innocence: Understanding the Causes of Wrongful Convictions and How to Prevent Them, highlighting her dedication to forensic reliability and systemic reform.
Known for her tenacity and compassion, Christina has built a reputation as a fierce advocate for people facing criminal charges — and as someone who truly believes in giving every client a fighting chance.
