He then served a two-year federal clerkship with the Honorable Chief Judge Roger Vinson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Pensacola before moving into private practice in 2003.
Today, Christian and his wife, Amy, live in Fate, Texas, with their five children: Joshua, Sarah, Caleb, Jonah, and Tabitha.
