Angelica is an Austin family lawyer with Goranson Bain Ausley with a focus on divorce and custody litigation.
Angelica was named to the 2025 Texas Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters and a Best Lawyers in America© since 2024 in family law. Angelica is a member of the 2019-2020 State Bar of Texas Leadership Class and is a member of the Diversity in the Profession Committee of the State Bar of Texas. She speaks fluent Spanish and has taken on many Spanish-speaking clients. She is also proficient in Portuguese.
In law school, Angelica was selected to be a member of the Texas Tech Family Law and Housing Clinic. There, she assisted indigent members of the community with a broad range of contested and uncontested cases, and this community work continues today. Currently, she is a volunteer family law attorney for Volunteer Legal Services, Jane’s Due Process. She is the vice-chair for the Family Law Section of the Austin Bar Association.
Outside of taking care of clients and working in the community, Angelica enjoys spending time with her husband, her two beautiful daughters, and their dogs, Mitchell and Abby. The six of them are foodies and enjoy exploring Austin’s culinary scene when they can escape the house.
