Hired Attorney

The very worst possible attorney, in regards to timeliness, character, honesty: he will lie to you, and you are the one paying him. He will work to hurt you if he decides you do not show him his due respect as a fancy pants lawyer. He does not care if he causes you to lose your home, your job, your children. You have heard lawyers are dirty and slimy, well that does not even touch the precipice of the vicious, underhanded moves of Darrin Keaton. His behavior exemplifies the corruption of the justice system, and his lack of empathy, puts him on the level of the corrupt police officers that take lives because they are bullies who hold themselves above the law. This attorney is right up there with the worst decisions of my life, that affected the rest of my life, and in the worst way possible. He caused me to have a fear of attorneys. He caused my legal abuse syndrome and agoraphobia. Worst was he could have costed my daughters their lives, but surely cost their quality of life.

Hired Attorney

This lawyer took over $2000 in a month (I never missed a payment) and did nothing. He will charge you for every little thing, including calls between the parties but you will never hear an update. He sat on the child support and child visitation paperwork for days before I was even aware of it. How do I know this? because I had to hire another lawyer and magically she did the paperwork within a week of being hired. They now claimed that I owe them money but according to the bar of lawyers, ethically, lawyers have to "earn" the money. He is not a dedicated lawyer, he definitely didn't "earn" my money and it is embarrassing to hear from other lawyers that they are glad I fired him. I am now finally seeing progress because of my new lawyer.
