JAMS Fee arbitration. Case Ref. No. 5460000673. Arbitrator: Hon. John W. Thorn. Dhaivat Shah told me I had a strong case against my 1st lawyer who put a lien on my case. He says he believes I would win. And He told me the cost could be 20-30k to do a fee arbitration unless the other party tries to expand the issue and the judge doesn't stop her. I saw the bills were way above 30k and started questioning the cost. Dhaivat told me 20-30k was for a "narrow" arbitration, but mine was not a "narrow" arbitration. The total number Grellas Shah billed me exceeded 120K. I made bad decisions based on the wrong information I was given. e.g. the strength of my case and the cost etc. as the case went on, they never told me the judge ruled on a key evidence against me before it was too late. I got a really bad case, it took the judge sent out his decision letter the next business day. I lost everything possible, total about 440k. I could have settled and got 210K. My life is ruined.
