David Rubin was so intent on doing things his way. He would not listen to any input or requests on my part. With every idea I presented, David Rubin would tell me things like “They change judges every year and you will probably get a judge that isn’t favorable to your situation”. And on and on, He hyper focused on details that didn’t really matter. And billed me for doing work without asking my opinion or permission. He acted like he was the supreme authority on everything. Phone call after phone call, emails, and David calling other attorneys for advice on my case. And billing me for that time. Finding a decent attorney is so difficult. He is not one of the good ones. It doesn’t seem ethical to me that he won’t answer your questions over email. Instead tells you what time you need to call him for a phone conference. Then talks for an hour. Clearly he knows he could have responded to your email in five minutes but the phone call allows him to bill you. Horrible
