I graduated from South Forsyth High School in 1994, and obtained my B.A. degree in English at Covenant College. I earned his Juris Doctor degree from Mississippi College of Law in 2001, although I completed my final year of law school at the University of Georgia. My wife, Nicole, and I together with our three children, Mary Elizabeth McFarland, Robert Parker McFarland III, and Joshua VanMeter McFarland live in Cumming, Georgia. I am a member of the North Forsyth Rotary Club. We are are members of Influencers Church in Cumming. I serve on the Board of Directors of Four Streams Partners, organize the Forsyth County National Day of Prayer event, and serve as regional coordinator for Northwest Georgia on the state team for the Georgia National Day of Prayer.
