Marcus has been very nice to work with. He explains procedures, and makes you feel comfortable. I was able to e-mail his office with any questions or concerns during the process and they responded quickly with answers. It's been a positive experience working with him.
Marcus always goes over and above to make sure that I am completely satisfied with his service. I would give Marcus the highest possible recommendation.
Marcus and his staff were very thorough, and explained the process in easy-to-understand terms. They were very responsive to all of our questions and concerns.
I went back to simply ask him to verify that the charges from Citi Mortgage (The original mortgage holder) were correct. He paid them out of closing costs. He at first said he was only responsible for actions concerning the new lender. When I pointed out that I had paid him & that he had paid Citi Mortgage, he stopped brushing me off and attempted to help me.
He finally said, "He thought the figures were correct?" He gave me the impression that he wasn't really knowledgeable & was irritated.
Understanding that the virus scare has everything messed up. A refi that i'm trying to get through before this virus scare hit hard. I did not choose the closing attorney, I was called and asked if I could get the payoff as the hold time was 40 minutes. If not received we would have to push the closing. With all the fees charged from the mortgage co. and attorney you would expect that this would be taken care of. When I asked if this what I'm paying you to do. I was told i could pay extra to have someone wait on hold to get the payoff. Quite telling
