This guy does not do anything. There were numerous things I had been brining up to Doug over and over and all I would ever get back was handwaving and assurances to work on something that often never produced anything. The new lawyer within the first 30 minutes made it clear that many of my concerns and requests were entirely valid and in many cases important to my case strategy. Often times i would not even bring these things up, it was more of a "well have we done xyz?" Where xyz was something I had been chasing doug on for 2 months. Towards the end of my time I started to think he had forgotten about major details of my case.
Absolute train wreck. Didn’t turn over documents to opposing counsel which had been given to him and it ended up costing me 5 figures. Dropped this firm and hired a reputable firm based in Atlanta and everything went very smooth and very much in my favor.
I used the Siemon law firm and it was a huge mistake! I would give them Zero stars if I could. I gave Doug Hassinger $7,000 cash and he said that he would put it in an escrow account. And he was billing me $350 an hour. $3,500 was to deal with a TDO my wife put against me and another $3,500 to deal with the divorce. My wife cancel the TPO and she changed her mind about the divorce. So I paid her attorney to file the petition to cancel the divorce. So Doug literally had no time in this and now he is refusing to give back my money. And his office aid Samantha Hall refuses to return my phone calls to discuss the matter. These guys are not to be trusted! Absolutely a horrible experience 😪!!!!!!!!!!!!
