What will be my punishment for a 11550 (a) H+S Under the Influence charge?

There is a mandatory minimum of 90 days in custody, but as a first offender, a drug diversion program may be available to you. You absolutely need an attorney. I'd strongly suggest you look for an attorney who focuses on criminal law and who routinely practices in the court where your case will be heard.

After posting bail, how long can they keep you in custody?

If you get bail posted they should let you go withing hours. May be slow, but if he is being held there must be some other issue.

What are the steps in filing a Motion to Withdraw Plea?

You are correct; motions to withdraw plea are disfavored by the courts. The usual analogy is 'buyer's remorse.' You will definitely need an attorney to craft the motion for you, basically arguing that you were not fully advised of all of the consequences of the plea. However, my guess is that you a) signed a written plea form and b) agreed with the judge that you had been fully advised and do understand your rights and the consequences. As I said, "Very difficult to win one of these." Best hope would be that you attorney would agree he/she did fail to fully advise you. Another concern is what happens if you win? Can you take this case to trial and get a better deal or an acquittal?
