What will happen if I get pulled over on a suspended license?

Answered by attorney Michael D. Fluke
Criminal Law lawyer at Michael D. Fluke, P.A.
If the officer has probable cause that you had knowledge of the suspension, you will likely be arrested. If the suspension was due to DUI, in most Florida counties you will be looking at jail time. I suggest you consult a local Criminal Defense attorney to discuss your case in greater detail and learn all of your rights and options. Good luck.

What attorney is needed to sue a winterizing company?

Answered by attorney Gregory M Janks (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Gregory M. Janks, P.C.
Sue them in Small Claims Court on your own without a lawyer as lawyers may not practice in Small Claims Court. However, a corporation, if sued there, has the option of having the case removed to District Court and then lawyers can be used by either side. It is unlikely you will be able to find a lawyer to economically handle a $1,200 case. You can ask your local Bar Association for a referral to a lawyer and/or find one on the web. If you have limited income, perhaps a Legal Aid Society can help you? You can ask the "problem solvers" of local TV stations to go to bat for you.

Is law enforcement legally obligated to notify the parent/guardian of a minor child that has been taken into custody?

Answered by attorney Lawrence Lewis (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Lawrence Lewis, P.C.
Law enforcement is obligated to inform a parent that a minor has been taken into custody. 17 and above is not a minor in GA. If you found out that the minor was in custody, then you were informed.
