What legal standing and case law do I have to back up my motion?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Hire a good attorney from the closest large jurisdiction who won't be scared of the local police and judge. That lawyer can always hire local counsel to get favors, but the law will protect you and he'll fight small town corruption. Find an aggressive attorney.

Usually he should know. The only other way is to check with each police department. Maybe you should contact whoever notified him of the warrant.
