The answer is perhaps and that it depends upon the facts of the case. There is not enough information given here to get any sort of solid answer. You did not say what the violation was for. He needs to get an attorney.

My friend accused of "self plagiarism" at large public university. Teacher said they could reference old assignments for this paper.

It's not criminal law, that's certain. Public universities must comply with disciplinary regulations and must afford due process, so I would engage an attorney who speciailizes in college disciplinary matters. It's not appropriate for me to recommend a specific attorney, but there are those who do that type of work.

What could be the outcome of a larceny of motor vehicle charge without a DNA or video?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
It is a theft, and the level of felony depends on the value of the vehicle. It does not matter if there is DNA or a video; the question is whether there is sufficient evidence for a jury to convict you beyond a reasonable doubt.
