Can I apply for a restricted drivers license if I started my classes for a DUI?

Your license is only suspended for one year under the 2nd dui, if you are successfully enrolled in the 18 mo program and you hve the SR22 insurance and pay the DMV fee you are eligible for your license.Yuo have nothing to lose by going down to the DMV and trying, sometimes it happens even when you don't expect it. If you have outstanding fines that you are behind on, you will need to catch those up and release any holds that may be on there.

What can happen to my son if criminal charges were filed?

Answered by attorney Philip Daniel Hache
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Phil Hache
If charges are filed, he will be looking at felony charge(s) for that amount of money. The exact charges may depend on the manner in which the money was stolen. Did he rob someones house? Take money directly from their bank account? Steal someones credit card? etc. I would not put any specifics on a public website like this, but certainly contact a defense attorney as soon as possible as it may be better to try to resolve this case pre-filing if possible.

Is it a misdemeanor to steal money from a co worker?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)

Because it is over $50 (the maximum for a Class C misdemeanor) but under $500 it is a Class B misdemeanor for which you could receive up to 6 months in jail and up to a $2,000 fine. You are probably eligible for probation, too. Sad thing to do - steal from a co-worker.
