If he questioned you without first reading you your rights and the info he obtained could be used against you, you may be able to get this evidence suppressed. Consult with an attorney.

Do i have to get an attorney now if my court date is 3 months away?

Answered by attorney Laurie A. Schmidt
Criminal Law lawyer at 5280 Law Group
In Colorado, there are many attorney's that will allow you pay on a payment plan. If you are concerned about paying a retainer fee, you may want to consult a few attorneys to determine how much he/she would charge. This would give you an opportunity to save the money prior to your first court date. You may also qualify for the services of the public defender's office, depending on your financial situation.

What should I expect from my drug charges?

Answered by attorney Andrew Louis Subin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Andrew Subin Attorney at Law
If this is your first offense, you should get the marijuana charge reduced to disorderly conduct, or maybe just plead to the paraphernalia. There is a mandatory 24 hours in jail (in WA), but other than that and a fine, you should not expect too much punishment.
