They will end up in jail IF they get back together and the judge has not permitted it. But since they like to do what they want to do, it is whatever whatever.

How long can you be kept in county jail if you violate probation?

As far as I know there is no magic timeframe, but if you have not gotten into court in at least a couple of weeks, have a lawyer check with the judge's office to see what is going on. If you are there too long, you can always file motions to get a hearing right away or else be released. Seek out an experienced criminal defense attorney to assist you in such a matter.

Can I get my record expunged if I was convicted of simple assault misdemeanor offense in Texas 4 years ago

Answered by attorney Patrick Short
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Firm of Patrick Short
You need to contact an attorney immediately so they can file a Motion for New Trial and/or a Notice of Appeal.  There are certain deadlines so do not delay today.  I cannot tell by your post if this was a Class C Assault or a Class A assault. Certain cases can be expunged if this was a Class C assault.
