What kind of sentence could he be looking at for stealing from a department store?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
That's a felony amount of theft. He is looking at 2-10 years in prison with a possible fine of $10k. You need to hire a lawyer immediately and begin fighting for his life.
