the record keeping in nj has greatly improved. as such, we are seeing many cases similar to your case. we just completed a case where the person had arrest warrants in seven [7] separate municipalities. the situation in eaxh court can be slightly different. some judges require your appearance. some do not. you must pay the 'contempt of court' fines which are usually significant. $500 to $1000 is the norm. the underlying charges can usually be dismissed. the legal fees are dependent upon where we have to appear. in the above noted case, we went to seven different courts. to bragg for a moment, we won all seven cases. the legal costs were $10,000. please call to discuss. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600

Statute of limitations is probably 3 years. The longer they wait the more of a due process issue arises, in the sense that you are prejudiced by their delay.
