More likely, if you have an extended theft provision on your homeowners or renters insurance, you can make a claim and let them deal with the airline/airport.

What happens if my best friend is 19 years old and he just slept with this girl who said she was 18 but then he found out she was 16?

Answered by attorney James S Lawrence (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at James S. Lawrence
In Michigan, if both parties consent, sex with a 16 year old is legal. If she is not yet 16 then it is third degree criminal sexual conduct, a serious felony. Note that it is unlawful to take nude photos until she is 18.

What are the questions prosecution would ask a first time shoplifter?

Jared Clayton Austin
Answered by attorney Jared Clayton Austin (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Austin Legal Services, PLC
It depends on the case and what the facts of the case are and if a defendant has any prior criminal history, etcetera. A lot more information is needed about the particular case in order to answer that question. It will also depend upon what information or testimony he gives on direct which the prosecutor will follow up on in his cross-examination.
