It is best to "leave sleeping dogs lie". It would seem unlikely that the State would file now, but if they think she was under 17 when you had relations there could still be filing. If the case is filed and the bond has been discharged there could be a new arrest.

How much jail time will be spent for an indictment on drug distribution?

Answered by attorney Jason William Savela
Criminal Law lawyer at The Savela Law Firm, P.C.
It depends on the criminal history of the person, the amount of meth, amount of cooperation with police, if there were guns involved, and other issues specific to the federal guidelines. But, a good attorney can help make the best arguments.

You may be prosecuted on a class B misdemeanor for up to two years. The State must bring the charges with in this time limit or the statute of limitations will bar prosecution. You can be prosecuted for the crime. It is possible for more than one person to be in possession of the same drugs.
