Do I have every legal right to get my records from a dental office?

Thomas C. Bulman
Answered by attorney Thomas C. Bulman (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Bulman Law Associates PLLC
Relax. You can't unring the bell so move on. You can request a copy of the records and they can charge a reasonable fee to copy and send them to you. You can't make them erase the records. Considering your attitude, they need to keep all the records to protect themselves from a crank lawsuit. The more noise you make the more attention you draw to being cheap. They didn't steal from you. A booking clerk made a mistake keystroke. I suggest you head to city hall and start checking the city treasurer for errors. That would be good for everyone.

What are my penalties for evading arrest?

Thomas J Tomko
Answered by attorney Thomas J Tomko (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Thomas J. Tomko, Attorney at Law
I am not aware of an offense called "evading arrest." However, there are charges of resisting and obstructing, which may be what you are referring to. Only by knowing your Court, the prosecutor, and the criminal history of the person charged can a prediction be made about what to expect. You should address these questions to the attorney you hire, explaining the individualized facts to the attorney.
