You will probably be sued for the amount owed, court costs, and attorney's fees. You probably would not be arrested if you do not show up for court.

How do I know if someone filed charges against me?

Answered by attorney Jay A. Rigdon
Criminal Law lawyer at Rockhill Pinnick LLP
Most states have online dockets where you can search to see if a case is pending. I would try that. Can't be more specific because you do not say where "there" is. It is also not clear from your question what your restraining order has to do with anything.

Yes. But that is not all there is to it, so do not expect much from the internet, go to see a criminal defense attorney immediately.
