Is it legal to post date a ticket and add a case to it?

Answered by attorney Loren M. Dickstein
Criminal Law lawyer at Lewis Dickstein P.L.L.C.
No, that is not illegal for the police officer to issue the supplemental ticket with the original offense date. Hire a good attorney, the judge is not going to look favorable on those allegations.

Will my MIC show up on a fingerprint clearance card for nursing?

You should retain an attorney. You went to classes and have no idea IF the charges are dismissed, expunged or what, which means you took some easy route without even understanding it. IF it is not expunged, you may be precluded from nursing, which is a good thing, since you were: (1) violating the law by consuming alcohol underage; (2) failing to use good judgment in appearing in court without an attorney; (3) taking a deal you did not understand; and (4) writing a question about alcohol "in your system" as IF you did nto actually consume the alcohol. You fail to mention anything about how the police came into contact with you. IF you had one beer at your apartment bu yourself, you would not have made an MIC charge.

Your question requires an attorney consultation. It is not a simple question that can be answered on this type of forum. There are many factors that would need to be considered and evaluated. I strongly suggest that you contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. He/she would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.
