Can I join the military with a felony charge from before?

Answered by attorney Dennis Marston Slate
Criminal Law lawyer at Slate Associates Attorneys at Law
You would have to be granted a waiver from the military branch you intend to join. You will need to contact a recruiter to find out if their service is accepting convicted felons.

The answer to your question depends on a lot of different circumstances. It depends on what County you're in. It depends in part on what Court you're in. It depends in part on the circumstances of the current arrest. It depends in part on how far along you were in the prior probation. The only thing I can tell you definitively is this: it's going to be a difficult spot that you've got yourself into. The reason is that, generally, the worst thing you can do on probation is to pick up a new case that is the same case that you were already on probation for. But, again, there's no way to answer the question without more information.

Fired PD who refused to communicate, hired a Federal Criminal Lawyer, paid up front, now he wont call back and is acting illegally by judge shopping

Answered by attorney Tristan Nicolas Legrande
Federal Criminal Law lawyer at LeGrande Law
Contact your attorney in person.  Schedule an appontment. Go to their office. If thay doesn'f work, you can either terminate the attorney and hire someone else, or terminate them and use the public defenders office (that does have many skilled attorneys).
