What will happen if I get pulled over on a suspended license?

Answered by attorney Edward Jerome Blum (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Office of Edward J. Blum
It depends on why the license was suspended and where you got pulled over. If it was suspended because of a DUI, then it's mandatory jail time according to the statute. Some jurisdictions will allow you to enter a conditional plea, where if you get a license it is a lower penalty than if you are unable to get a license.

You are not going to a prelim six months after an arrest. So, right there I know you have no idea what you are writing.

What could happen if I caused a hit and run?

Answered by attorney Paul J. Wallin
Criminal Law lawyer at Wallin & Klarich, A Law Corporation
If you were involved in a "hit and run" which means you were in an accident and you left the scene without providing your identifying information and proof of insurance, you can be prosecuted for a misdemeanor or a felony. What you are prosecuted for will depend if there was any injuries to anyone in the accident. You can be arrested. You should immediately contact a criminal defense firm to assist you so you can map out the best plan for your defense.
