Can law enforcement go onto my Facebook page and take my messages?

Is the language in the search warrant broad enough to cover your fb messages? That is the issue, and I doubt that it is broad enough to do that. Thus, since you were arrested, a police report is being used part of the evidence against you. It is odd that you appear more concerned about your fb messages than the criminal charges against you. The case might be ripe for a motion to suppress, but only an attorney who knows all the facts can tell.

My 17 year old stepson plans to attack me today at the therapists office

Answered by attorney Diana L. Anderson

you should notify the therapist, and she may want to call the police.  The doctor/patient confidentiality is a lot like attorney/client in that anytime a patient or client is threatening harm to self or others, you can report that.  I would definitely tell the therapist, and indicate that you believe that he will go through with this threat, and ask what to do if he does attack.

Was there any probable cause for me to be searched?

Jared Clayton Austin

It's possible. A lot more information is needed. Such information could be enough for what is called a Terry stop, but it has to be very specific and the "totality of the circumstances" would have to suggest that it was necessary for the officer's safety. Why did they keep your wallet? Was there some sort of contraband in it? Have an attorney thoroughly review the police report of the incident.
