If i have 7 month on probation and if i dont show up and the 7 month pass can they still keep me on it

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
A warrant should have been issued for probation violation. It is possible to negotiate for extending the probation in some cases but there is a chance that the court may revoke the probation. Another possible result is adjudication if the probation was deferred.

What’s going to happen to me and my dog if my dog attacked another dog?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
I guess they could sue you and you would have to call your home insurance company to defend you. Doesn't appear that you did anything criminally negligent based on the information provided.

My son is currently sentenced to 40 years in california prison his appeal just got denied in the 9th distric, can he i do anything else?

Answered by attorney Patrick Short
Criminal Law lawyer at Law Firm of Patrick Short
You should seek the advice of an appellate attorney who does federal appeals.  It sounds like this just occurred, the decision by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals just occurred.  There are deadlines so make sure you seek the advice of an attorney so that they can give notice of appeal to protect your son's ability to appeal.  DO NOT DELAY as there are strict timetables for the right to appeal. Good luck...
