If the ban is part of a court order it is enforceable. The year starts from the time of the order.

Can they put me in jail for not paying the fine that goes with my prison sentence?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
No, they just won't let you off parole until you pay it. You have to satisfy all your conditions or I guess they could put you in jail. Usually at a rate of $100 per day until the $6K is paid off.
