If an officer coerced my son into allowing him to search the car, can we fight this?

Hire a lawyer. The officer did not "illegally" coerce him such that it would lead to a suppression. However, if your son kept quiet, it sounds like they may have a proof issue in showing he intentionally and knowingly possessed the alcohol.

You will be sent a notice IF you are needed in court. As soon as you receive a court notice you need to consult with an experienced attorney.

Unfortunately, the law very rarely provides clear cut answers to questions. It's not possible for anyone on here to give you a definitive "yes or no" answer to your question. It would take a considerable amount of legal research and a detailed analysis of the facts and evidence in the case to render a proper legal opinion. But I can give you my initial impression. I do not believe that a Brady violation against one defendant necessarily means there was a Brady violation against all defendants. Brady violations occur when the prosecution fails to turn over exculpatory evidence. If they withheld evidence for once defendant, it does not automatically mean that that evidence would have been exculpatory for all defendants.
