I don't know if they check warrants so I cannot tell you. Contact a Florida attorney. You may have to pay legal fees and go to Florida to get the warrant cleared.

You need to get an attorney for this matter. You cannot dictate what will happen to you. You brought this about by taking something that you had no right to take, but the attorney you hire will investigate all the facts and circumstances and if there is a chance that the case can get dismissed, perhaps through a diversion program completion, if nothing more, the attorney will diligently represent you and your best interests.
