Can I expunge a criminal charge for writing bad checks?

Cynthia Russell Henley
Answered by attorney Cynthia Russell Henley (Unclaimed Profile)
Criminal Law lawyer at Cynthia Henley
You can expunge cases that have been dismissed or for which you have been found not guilty. This looks like you were issued a summons and no bond was ever filed although it was set in the amount of $1,000. Did you appear on the case and take care of the matter? If not, you may have an outstanding warrant. If so, what happened?

What can I do about theft over 500 jail time?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
Good chance no jail. Don't take just a regular probation because theft is a crime of moral turpitude. Hire the best attorney you can afford and worst case take deferred adjudication probation.

What am I looking at for a DUI and possession charge?

Answered by attorney Mark R. Thiessen
Criminal Law lawyer at Thiessen Law Firm
You should've already hired an attorney to fight the civil license suspension. But you absolutely need a lawyer for these criminal cases now. DUI and POM come with high fines, stigmas, and jail time. You need to hire the best lawyer you can afford to navigate you through the system without incurring much damage.
